Alright, it's officially official, I am going to the United States. I am going to study abroad, I am going to be an 'international student'. This morning we posted my application forms along with the forms I had to fill out to get a dorm. In less than a year, I will be in San Francisco attending the  Academy of Art University, majoring in Graphic design. This blog will function as a general 'column' for the people back home who want to know what is going on in my life on the other side of the world.

A list of the type of things I might post in this journal:

  • Loads of photos (what the school looks like, my room, things that strike me in the US)
  • My work (stuff I have to do for school)
  • What kind of things I do in a typical week
  • The problems I might face due to the sudden change from depending on mom, to depending on myself AKA college life
  • and any other rantings from an adolescent human trying to make it big

So, what are my plans so far? First of all, finish highschool. Then after the summer vacation I am going to be off to the US. The First week, my mother will be with me in a hotel to get settled in and then, I’ll be on my own. I’ll stay at the school for four years to become a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts). Then maybe if I am really on a roll, I’ll stay two years longer to become a MFA (Master of Fine Arts.) After that, I’ll be ready for the real world and I’ll start my own little company on the web, creating websites and logos for other companies around the world.

That’s about it for now, as soon as the school sends back a confirmation of my letters, I will start posting about the stuff that I might be bringing along with me, or the things that I’ll need there. Until then, drive safe and eat your vegetables.

I also used this in my IB exam written task..I hope they don't mind xD
